The outcome of Saturday's predict the score competition was close
With many people still in the running when Gss score was still in the 20s, it looked like we would have a outright winner.
As the game progressed through the second half with both scores being added to it left around six contestants in the running. At the final whistle the sheets had to be checked several times, with no correct prediction made.
With the outcome coming for the closest prediction being a close run thing it was the ever present club stalwart John Beazer who came up trumps with 42-26 to take the consolation prize of £80
