With Gs having yet again achieved the League and Kent Cup double this season and promotion to Nation 3, the Council have decided to present the club with a "Special Achievement Award", but there is also an individual "Sports Achievement Award" that is also going to a club member, Jason Owen, schools liaison officer, for his outstanding work, effort and time in community involvement in bringing sport and education together, with a lot of this work involving events at Gravesend Rugby Club, and for his work in setting up and running the wheelchair rugby section, GRFC Dynamites, at the club and his England International selection for the Six Nations Championships in Paris later this year.
